The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is available to order in the UK today and as well as it’s nice sliding mechanism this is the first mobile phone by BlackBerry to feature their new BlackBerry 6.0 OS. This software still has the same overall look and feel but don’t be fooled by first appearances as BlackBerry have been hard at work cleaning up the menus in menus, added a powerful universal search as well as a social networking tool that groups all your Twitter, Facebook and RSS information in one place.
The universal search is probably the biggest and best new feautre in the new OS and allows you to find any contact, email, note, music or app simply by typing in the first few letters into the search box
