mobile phones on contract - Bad Credit? No problem!

Adding the final missed mobile phone model in yesterday’s cheap mobile phone deals post, we review RIM’s BlackBerry Torch 9810, also known as the BlackBerry Torch 2 and RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810 4G.

This one was one of the easiest reviews we have written in a long time. As we were tossing coins to see who would venture out to find it at a sales outlet, one of our staffers reached in his pocket and tossed it over to us. (We won’t mention the smirk and the head shake.)

Voila! Here’s what we discovered.

Overview

Although it looks very similar to its predecessor, don’t let looks fool you: There is a lot more going on inside the case to warrant a careless tag of โ€œit’s a re-do.โ€ Faster processing, aided by an accelerator, improved resolution on the very decently sized touchscreen and terrific RAM make the BlackBerry Torch 9810 a model to remember.

The upward-sliding touchscreen reveals a full QWERTY keyboard. The hide-away design can be a benefit not only for key protection but unwanted and accidental input. It also makes way for the larger screen without making the smartphone larger than desired or uncomfortable.
