The upcoming Dell Venue Pro smartphone is already available for pre-order online more than a week ahead of its official UK release.

The Venue Pro is one of the first mobiles to sport Windows Phone 7 and it is unique amongst its siblings because of its slide out portrait full QWERTY keypad and 4.1 inch display.

Online retailer Expansys now has the Venue Pro listed for pre-order at a price of £499.99 and stamped with a UK launch date of November 8th, although solid confirmation that this will be its official release is yet to be given.

Like the other Windows Phone 7 frontrunners, the Dell Venue Pro will have a 1GHz processor onboard and a five megapixel camera with HD video capture. The inclusion of a microSD memory card slot will definitely suit users who are not satisfied with the meagre 1GB of onboard storage space.

While most of the other Windows Phone 7 handsets have been fully dissected and rather well received by critics in early reviews, the Venue Pro is something of an unknown entity. This will make it interesting to see how reviews of this business-focused smartphone play out upon its UK launch.
