Rumours have run amok since the November 2011 release that the LG Jil Sander mobile phone, also known as the LG E906 Jil Sander mobile phone, is identical to its older brother, the LG E900 Optimus 7, in all but window dressing. We have read about this rumour long enough to prompt us to make a side-by-side comparison of the two LG smartphones. In the specifications area, we will list all standard information for the older model, the E900, then list only the differences for the E906, and let you decide.

Overview

Since the E900 was introduced a full year prior to the E906, it’s not surprising that the base unit offers an older version of the Win 7 operating system. Updates may grant “even steven” footing, so don’t let that stop you from considering it.

Slightly smaller but a tad thicker, the Jil Sander (the E906) fits just that much better in hand than its older counterpart, but let’s get to the finer details before we spill too many details across the tabletop here.
