In today’s tablet review, we bring you a preview of an LG model that was just announced on 18 January. The LG Optimus Pad LTE extends the Optimus line with a terrific memory capacity, a great camera option, and some other terrific features.
The tablet is due out to the Korean market, LG’s home crowd as early as next week, according to our friends at Phone Arena, and only if Korean consumers react favourably to the device will LG consider expanding its distribution.
Let’s cross our fingers and take a look at it, shall we?
Overview
Like the smartphone, the LG Optimus Pad LTE has that developing speed trend into LTE hashmarks, but it also offers a brilliant True HD IPS display.
The LG Optimus Pad LTE takes the honours of being the first tablet to sport both on-board memory of 32 GB and offers an additional 32 GB of memory storage via a microSB slot. External memory is a rarity in tablets so far: The option exists but not seen very often at all.
Fast, fast, fast is only one way to describe the 1.5 GHz speed its processor brings to the table. The stability of the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system is greatly enhanced for users at that speed, and the combination is a definite plus.

The lack of video capabilities in the data could also be an oversight; the camera specs are capable of carrying the option. We’ll update as we can find more information.
Overall opinion: If one likes LG products, this new tablet might be one to watch. If nothing else, additional specs are worth investigating. The LTE speed in a tablet is a terrific advantage, and so is the 64-GB memory capacity!
