Corning Gorilla Glass 2 Update

We recently reported on a new Gorilla Glass by Corning. Well, we found out how Corning improved that innovative protection: Corning states that Gorilla Glass 2 provides the same great protection but in a thinner presentation.

With the thinner glass now or soon available, how long might it be before Huawei is displaced as having the thinnest mobile phone in the world? After all, every millimetre counts!

HTC Confirms ICS Update

Moments ago, HTC informed the world on its Facebook page that an additional seven mobile phone models will receive ICS updates from their Android Gingerbread OS brother. Among those HTC models listed in another story posted earlier, the HTC Thunderbolt should receive the new dessert OS in the second quarter of 2012.

HTC deserves major credit for living up to its word update as many smartphones as possible.
