mobile phones on contract - Bad Credit? No problem!

Wading stealthily among the rumour rivers of the iPhone, Motorola has been popping up on the mobile phone radar for quite some time with hints and whispers of a new Droid phone. We, of course, drooled and panted, waiting for solid information on what’s been called the Droid 4. We’ve not forwarded any information to you until we had reasonably certain data to pass along. Thanks to TechnoBuffalo, we’ve seen a few snapshots of a demo unit.

Since there’s a bit of hard data available via the photos, we’re ready to pass along some of what you might find in the Motorola Droid 4 and what it offers. [insert fist pump “Yesssss!”]

We give credit to TechnoBuffalo for a few bytes of updated information; we didn’t know the battery capability or the internal memory.

Overview

Rumours have noted that the slide-out QWERTY keyboard may have adjustments, but the photos show that it’s been completely revamped. Outlined keys only start the new look.

The model showed the standard four Android home keys below the main display, which users have come to expect and want in Android mobile phones.

Slightly rounded corners and a textured finish make the Droid 4 appear to be rather easy to hold onto while operating – more good news for users.

The external speaker on the demo model appears to be on the back of the device and offset to the left, which may make it easier for listeners to hear, rather than have to wrestle with it to ensure it’s uncovered.
