Sprint Nextel is expected to announce a partnership with Nokia over the next few days as they finalise plans for a multi billion dollar wireless network.
Motorola and Samsung are already signed up to the deal which Sprint hope will attract 100 million users by 2008. The network is being designed to increase bandwidth on the Sprint network and reduce the cost of providing data services.
In return for helping with the network Sprint will be selling Nokia handsets that are designed for use on the high speed network.
